Book Orders and Zoo Money

Book orders are due on May 2nd. This will be the last set for the year.

Field trip money is also due on May 2nd.  Please return the chaperone form if you are able to help with the trip. If you have a zoo membership, I'll need to have the number to add to our form.

Volume

This week we worked on volume to prepare for the tests this week.  Students worked with partners to create a display.  Then they walked around and found the volume of each display.  We need to review this again before the math achievement test!

Community Helpers

 Last week we worked on our Top Secret Community Helper Project.  Students worked together to create 5 pictures to represent their job.  Then they created posters and worked with their partner to try and guess the community jobs from other case files.  We need to finish up on Monday.  They'll be writing a paragraph to tell how their job is important to our community.

I'll post pictures once we are finished!  This is a very artistic class!  Their drawings are wonderful and so much fun to look at.

Last week we finished up our menu project.  I will post pictures once I get the pictures taken. We have some very creative restaurants!
