Class Books

This week we finished reading Harriet Tubman Wanted: Dead or Alive.  We really enjoyed this book!  Here's a little peek at our compound word book we made.  Students selected a compound word from the story and then used the word in a sentence about the story.  We have great artists in our class!  Students have also enjoyed looking at books made by previous classes.  It's fun to see pictures that siblings made years ago!

We've Been Busy

This week we are working on Geometry and partitioning shapes into equal parts.

In February, we worked with graphing conversation hearts and mixtures.

We used t-charts to solve elapsed time problems.

We worked with  mixtures and solutions.

We'll wrap up the week with the Talent Show and Silent Auction!  Come and check out our class contribution!  We are making 2 sets of a really neat item!

Snowmen Drawings

After reading Snowmen at Night, we completed a directed drawing of snowmen.  Our class loves working on these drawings!  We draw the picture step by step, so they have to listen and follow along.

Here are a few to start. I'll add more as my phone decides to send them!
