The NED Show

Last week The NED Show visited our school.  This was a really fun assembly with a great message.  One of our lucky classmates was chosen to participate and she received 3 yo-yos and a carrying case along with this really neat balloon hat.

Here is information from their website about their show

Our program centers around a 45-minute character education assembly called The NED Show. This school-wide performance tells the story of NED, a lovable cartoon character whose name is an acronym for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. It’s a simple, memorable message designed to teach valuable lessons that help kids become champions at school and in life.

Building off the excitement surrounding NED, the schools we visit are able to improve student behavior, strengthen test scores and create a school culture where every child believes that they are a champion.

Monster Measuring

Students are having fun with monster measuring.  They have to draw monsters to match the measurement on the card.  Their monsters are adorable! It looks like we still need to label them.
