Word Splashes

This week I will be introducing Word Splashes to one reading group.  The whole class will get to do them, but we are starting with small groups first.

Word Splashes are used as a prereading activity to introduce vocabulary and to make predictions about the story. 

A few other charts that we'll be using this week are:
